DUBAI: Kuwait police reportedly arrested an Egyptian and a Kuwaiti man along with three Indonesian stewardesses with Kuwait Airways for drinking alcohol, the al-Anba news daily reported.
The suspects were allegedly arrested while riding in a car at a late evening hour by a police patrol on duty.
During interrogation they said they were returning home after a party in Maseelah, in the capital.
Police in Kuwait have been cracking down on illicit drinking, which is forbidden in the conservative Gulf Kingdom.
Tensions are high in Kuwait after a court ruling last week dissolved the recently elected parliament.
Kuwait Airways did respond to Bikyamasr.com's requests for a comment on their employees.
