CAIRO: Dubai benchmark index ended Thursday session up, as mid and micro caps trades in a wide range at the end of today session. Nominating Abaar executives as board member for Contractor Arabtec was another boost for Dubai bourse, which made the main index up of 0.7% to close at 1684 points. “Bluechips performance was not in top in today's session, mid and micro caps was the main reason to take the market higher” an analyst told Bikyamasr.com. Arbatec's shares extended its gains of 2012 to 120 percent, rising about 2.3% in today's session. Emaar Properties rose by 0.9 percent, Dubai Financial Market by 0.8 percent and Union Properties rising by 1.5 percent.
