E-Finance joins Nairobi's Cards and Payments Conference

E-Finance Company is to participate for the second time in Cards and Payments East Africa 2015 conference held on 15-16 September 2015 in Nairobi, Kenya, the company announced Tuesday.
Cards & Payments East Africa 2015 is a two day conference for regional banks, telecom operators, government and retailers to learn how to create a superior payment experience for consumers across the region.
Around 35 international speakers from the e-payment and e-reimbursement sectors and more than 600 attendees from the region's leaders and decision-makers are to take part in the conference specialized in cards and electronic payment solutions.
E-finance's participation Nairobi's conference aims at expanding its presence in Africa and sharing its experience the neighboring states.
E-finance enjoys more than 10 years of experience in the field of e-payments and could meet the needs of different banks, financial institutions, telecommunication companies, government and other sectors.
During the conference, E-finance presents the company's cards issuance service through its own cards center. The new card center received praise from MasterCard and Visa by commissioning E-finance to issue e-cards for all banks and international financial institutions.
The center issues more than 4.5 million smart cards monthly through laser engraving technology, the latest, most secure and reliable method of issuing cards. It is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, and uses all means necessary to safeguard customer data. It operates using the latest technologies by the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI), where cards are printed in a secure internal and external environment complying with international standards.
The center is established using the latest technological infrastructure and has the largest production capacity in the Middle East, enabling it to issue electronic payment cards of all kinds.
On other side, E-Finance's CEO Ibrahim Sarhan affirmed that "E-Finance is very happy and truly keen on participating in the conference this year, firmly believing in the importance of the role it plays in the field of smart cards and e-payments. E-Finance is also keen on expanding its operation both regionally and globally"
E-Finance is the largest operator of electronic payment systems in Egypt and the Middle East, with more than 600 employees in 27 governorates. It has implemented a number of national projects that serve the community, most notably, the support and rationalization of petroleum products (Smart Card), pension disbursement and "Takaful and Karama" (Ministry of Social Solidarity), and many other projects aiming to achieve progress and prosperity for the Egyptian society.
