Misr Insurance Company is targeting to collect the annual premiums which worth EGP40 million after activating the third phase of the White Taxi project within the coming period. Mohamed Taha, Manager of Motor Insurance sector at Misr Insurance Co asserted that it is schedule for the time span for the third phase of the project to become 5 years due to halting the activation of the phase till now. Taha pointed out that the total collective premiums value for the first and the second phase reached around EGP137 million annually, stressing that the compensations volume of the 2 phases estimated at EGP82 million. He further added that Misr Insurance faced difficulties in the last two phases representing in the unawareness of taxi drivers for the conditions of policyholders, asserting that his company has settled some exceptional compensations of the phases.
