Security forces detained Sunday two suspects believed to be responsible for the bomb explosion which occurred in the vicinity of St. George church in the city of Tanta, Gharbia governorate. An eyewitness told reporters that the bomb was placed inside the church at the front rows, as the explosion targeted the men. Egypt's Ministry of Solidarity decided to pay ten thousand EGP to each family of the dead victims as a compensation Egypt's Attorney General assigned an investigative team to discover the circumstances behind the attack. The explosion occurred during Palm Sunday celebrations holiday, which the government gives as a holiday for Copts, as most of them go to churches to pray.
