Cairo - Egypt's Endowment Minister 'Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa' appointed 'Dr. Abdullah Al-Naggar' as chairman of its centre for countering terrorism and extremism. Naggar is a member of Al-Azhar Islamic Research Academy. Endowment Ministry said in a statement that its centre for countering terrorism and extremism aimed at spreading the culture of tolerance and peace and correcting the wrong concepts about Islam. He is a Professor of Islamic Law at Al-Azhar University. He was quoted before commenting on "Have you praised Prophet Muhammed today" stickers that have been widely circulated in Egyptian streets back in 204, by referring to those behind the sticker as tools used by international Zionism and America to create chaos, divide Egypt and turn it into another Iraq.
