Albawabh, Cairo- Egypt's Sameh Shukry, Minister of foreign affairs, welcomed, Japanese State Ministers for Foreign Affairs, Minoru Kiuchi, to discuss the developments of bilateral relations between the Egypt and Japan, on economic, trade and investment levels, in the light of the meeting of Egypt's Sisi and Japan's Shinzo Abe on the sideline of UN's general assembly in New York last month. Shukry affirmed that Egypt is expecting Japan's participation in the Cairo Conference to support Egyptian economy on next February, to take advantage of investment's opportunities in Egypt's national projects, especially the project of developing Suez Canal axis. Spokesperson of Egyptian foreign ministry stated that Shukry stressed on the Japanese rule in providing the technical support and funding to Egyptian projects, like Dayrout aqueduct and establishing the grand museum. The meeting discussed the importance of coordinating the efforts to confront terrorism in Middle East as well, through cooperation between regional and international powers. Kiuchi expressed his country's appreciation to the Egyptian rule in Gaza war, especially it will welcome the conference of Gaza's reconstruction, asserting that Egypt's stability creates security and stability in whole Arabic region. Ministry's spokesperson added that Shukry asked Japan to support Egypt's candidacy for non-permanent membership in the Security Council in the period between "2016-2017". The two ministers discussed the nuclear weapons free area in Arabic region, and the Egyptian situation against using nuclear weapons in wars and conflicts, stressing on the importance of holding the postponed Middle East conference to clear the region from those weapons.
