Matrouh governorate security director, Major General Hesham Lotfy announced Monday that Salloum Border Crossing received 407 Egyptian returnees from Libya over the past 24 hours, Youm7 News reported. Lotfy added that 296 people entered the country legally and 111 people entered illegally. He pointed out that Salloum Border Crossing received 196,93 Egyptian returnees from Libya following the beheading of 21 Egyptians by Islamic State jihadist groups militants in February 2015. Lotfy added that 678 people entered Libya through Salloum Border Crossing over the past 24 hours including 194 Egyptians and 484 Libyans.
