Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi met with Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn in Rwandan capital, Kigali on Monday, to discuss bilateral issues between the two countries, al-Bawaba News reported. On the sidelines of African Union (AU) 27th Summit, al-Sisi discussed with Desalegn the ways to boost the bilateral relations between Egypt and Ethiopia, and efforts to enhance peace and security in the continent. Earlier Monday, al-Sisi participated in the vote to choose a new president for the AU Commission, in the framework of the president's participation in the 27th summit hosted currently by Rwanda. Egyptian-Ethiopian relations have deteriorated in the past three years, because of building the Renaissance Dam, that will affect Egypt's share of Nile River.
