France's Aix-en-Provence Festival presented an Arab operetta inspired by Calila e Dimna stories for the first time in the festival's history, Al-Bawaba News reported Sunday. The operetta, which is considered to be the first Arab operetta to be presented in Aix-en-Provence Festival is written by Palestinian poet Monem Odwan, composed by Syrian composer Fady Gomar and directed by French director Olivier Otoulih. The show will be also displayed in Lebanon, Tunisia and Bahrain, as well as in France's Paris, Lille, Le Mans, Dijon cities.
