Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised Tuesday in a statement the initiative of President, Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi that confirmed Egypt's readiness to help in solving the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, AL-Bawaba News reported. Netanyahu said that he welcomes the remarks of President Sisi and his willingness to make every effort in order to achieve future of peace and security between Israel and Palestine. He confirmed that Israel is ready to participate with Egypt and Arab countries in pushing forward the peace process in order to maintain the region's stability and security. Earlier today, Sisi said during his speech on the occasion of inaugurating a new power plant in in Asyut governorate that he met with his Palestinian counterpart Mahmoud Abbas last week in Cairo, where they discussed ways to revive the peace process and overcome the frustration spread among the Palestinians. Sisi highlighted the existing peace agreement between Egypt and Israel as a proof that peace can be achieved between Israel and Palestine, calling on various Palestinian parties to unite to reach a genuine reconciliation with Israel, which would contribute to achieving security and stability to the region. The Egyptian president asserted that Egypt will continue its role in pushing peace between Palestine and Israel, and end the long conflict between them.
