Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has issued on behalf of the Ministry of Finance, bills with a total value of EGP 9.5 billion, Veto News reported Thursday. The value of the first IPO treasury bills for 182 days is EGP 4.5 billion, while the second IPO is worth EGP5 billion for 364 days. Egypt's state budget deficit increased during the first seven months of the current fiscal year 2015-2016 to 191.6 billion pounds (equivalent to 6.8% of GDP) compared with 159 billion pounds of the same period last year, a 20% increase.
