Abdel Rehim Ali's statement defuses Press Syndicate storming crisis, Emad Eddin Hussein

No one can outbid the situation of MP Abdel Rehim Ali towards the storming of Press Syndicate by police forces, Columnist Emad Eddin Hussein said on Monday.
During his interview with "10 Masa'an" talk show, Hussein pointed out that Ali's statement over the incident had defused the crisis.
MP Abdel Rehim Ali slammed Sunday the storming of the Egyptian Journalists Syndicate (EJS) headquarters as a serious violation of the sanctity of the prestigious association.
Ali added that he would submit an urgent parliamentary statement to the parliament speaker on the incident.
It is the first time in history for police forces to break into this great edifice, Ali said, calling for an immediate and decisive probe into the incident.
