A number of parliamentary sources predicted that President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi may meet with some members of the Press Syndicate's council to resolve the crisis which erupted after policemen had stormed the syndicate's headquarters Sunday, Al Bawaba News reported. The sources, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said that Al Sisi is expected to hold an urgent meeting within the next few hours with the syndicate's council members, to discuss the dispute that broke out between the syndicate and the ministry of interior. The crisis surfaced after the security forces stormed the syndicate's headquarters and arrested two of its members.
