Minister of environment, Khaled Fahmy will attend Friday ceremony of signing Paris climate change agreement at United Nations headquarters in New York, Al Bawaba News reported. World leaders and ministers will witness the signing of the agreement, which was approved by more than 100 countries during climate change summit in Paris, 2015. This comes in preparation for activating the agreement in order to face the phenomenon of global warming through a variety of mechanisms. The ministry said in a statement that Fahmy will highlight Egypt's view of the agreement and the mechanisms of which it believes are the best suitable to deal with the global warming, during the ceremony. The minister will also hold a number of bilateral meetings with several officials, on the sidelines of the signing ceremony, the statement added.
