Egypt's President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi phoned Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi to offer condolences over the death of an Italian young man in Cairo. During the phone call, President Al-Sisi offered condolences and sincere sympathy to the family of the Italian victim, Giulio Regeni, confirming to the Italian official that he will personally follow the investigations process in order to determine the full circumstances of the incident. Prosecutor General Nabil Ahmed Sadeq ordered investigations into the death of Regeni to disclose stances surrounding his disappearance and murder as well as the signs of torture found in some parts of his body.
