Minister of Culture, Helmy Al-Namnam discussed Tuesday with his Chinese counterpart, Luo Shugang the establishment of the first opera house in the historic city of Luxor to be a symbol of cooperation between the two countries, Al-Bawaba News reported. Shugang said during his meeting with Namnam he would made a contact with the Chinese Ministry of Trade and Development to discuss the proposal. The two ministers decided during the meeting that Egyptian-Chinese Cultural year will be the beginning of a more cultural cooperation between the two countries, deciding also that China will host the final ceremony of the joint cultural year next December.
