Beijing Opera House will host Monday a press conference to announce the details about the Egyptian-Chinese cultural year celebration, with the participation of Egypt's Ambassador to China, Magdy Amer, and head of Foreign Cultural Relations sector at the Chinese Ministry of culture, Al-Bawaba News reported Sunday. It's expected that the events will include several activities that take place at several Egyptian and Chinese cities and provinces. The events will include art exhibitions, cultural seminars, musical and art concerts as well as training workshops in various cultural and artistic fields, in the framework of increasing the understanding and closeness between the two nations and its citizens. The Egyptian Embassy in China had hosted Saturday an art exhibition as a prequel to the year events, with the participation of several artists and Chinese actors interested in Egypt and its culture, during which Amer revealed his expectations of Egypt's role at implementation of the Silk Road and the Maritime Silk Road.
