Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) will offer Sunday treasury bills of EGP 7.5 billion to reduce the country's budget deficit, Youm7 News reported Saturday. A total of EGP3 billion will be offered as 91-day treasury bills while EGP4.5 billion as 266-day bills. Egypt's budget deficit is expected to reach 240 billion pounds at the end of fiscal year 2015/2016, according to financial analysts. This deficit has been reduced through Arab and international aids plus treasury bonds issued on behalf of the Ministry of Finance.
