Egypt's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sameh Shoukry met Japanese Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe, during his current visit to Tokyo, to discuss bilateral ties, Al-Masry Al-Youm reported Friday. The two sides tackled ways of enhancing bilateral relations between both countries during the coming period, in preparation for President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi's visit to Japan in the first quarter of next year. Shoukry also held talks with his Japanese counterpart, Fumio Kishida on boosting cooperation between the two countries, in political, economic and cultural fields. Both sides exchanged views on issues of mutual interest, as well as regional and international issues.
