Presidency spokesperson, Alaa Yousef said Tuesday that President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi received a telephone call from Cyprus' President, Nicos Anastasiades to discuss the ways to boost the bilateral ties between the two countries, Al Bawaba News reported. Yousef added that Anastasiades expressed his confidence in Egypt's ability to overcome all the current challenges, praising the trilateral cooperation between Egypt, Cyprus and Greece aiming to enhance the security and development of the Eastern Mediterranean Sea area. Anastasiades stressed on his country's keenness to continue to cooperate with Egypt in the fight against terrorism and extremism. For his part, Sisi expressed his appreciation to the Cyprus' President and his country's efforts to spread peace in Middle East, stressing that Egypt always keen to boost its relations with Cyprus in various fields.
