On October 30, top diplomats from the United States, Russia, Iran, China, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Egypt, Qatar, Lebanon and France, as well as UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura, met in Vienna to discuss the Syrian crisis settlement.
The participants of the talks in Vienna for a Syrian peace reached a mutual understanding on national unity, the need to eradicate extremist groups, and providing assistance to refugees, as well as restating that the Syrian people must decide the future of their state.
