Egypt's Minister of International Cooperation, Sahar Nasr met with the director of U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Sherry Carlin Sunday in cairo, in the framework of strengthening the bilateral economic relations between Egypt and the USA, Al-Bawaba News reported Monday. The two sides discussed the executive positions of projects funded by the Agency in several fields, where she had stressed on the importance of expediting the implementation ,as well as the importance of following up and evaluating these projects on an ongoing basis,and on a cooperation that supports the priorities of the Egyptian government's economically and socially. Carlin stated that the US is keen on supporting the priorities of the Egyptian government, and in the context of US economic aid program the small and medium sized projects, micro and leadership programs has been enhanced.
