Discussing Reasons for Russian A-321 Engine Crash Premature - Russian FM
Published in Albawaba on 02 - 11 - 2015

The Russian Foreign Ministry said on Monday that debating the reasons for the crash of the Russian Airbus A-321 in Egypt is premature.
On Saturday, the Russian Kogalymavia Airbus A-321 passenger airliner, with 217 passengers and seven crew members on board, crashed in the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt, leaving no survivors.
"How can we talk about any version, when our experts have only just begun to work on the site of the crash?" ministry's spokeswoman Maria Zakharova was quoted by the Rossiya-1 television channel as saying.
On Sunday, the Russian government commission, experts and rescue workers arrived at the site of the crash.
Zakharova noted that everything has been done and will be done for everyone "to learn the truth."
The spokesperson added that the Egyptian side efficiently assists Russia in the investigation, and demonstrates exclusive cooperativeness.
On Sunday, the Russian Transport Ministry announced that Moscow and Cairo had reached full mutual understanding on conducting investigation into the crash of a Russian airliner in Egypt, and Cairo will help gather all the necessary data related to the incident.
According to the Russian Transport Minister Maxim Sokolov, the investigation into the crash is to be carried out in close cooperation with Egyptian civil aviation authorities, and that the cause of the catastrophe can be debated only after an international investigation is conducted.
The Kogalymavia airliner's crash has become the deadliest air accident in the history of Soviet and Russian aviation.
