Egypt's President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi affirmed his support to the unity of Iraqi territories and its legitimate institutions, during his meeting with Iraq's PM Haider al-Abadi on the sidelines of the 70th Summit of UN General Assembly in New York, Al-Bawaba news reported Tuesday. During the meeting, al-Sisi expressed his sincere appreciation for al-Abadi for his efforts, hoping to make a significant advance on the ground. The two leaders addressed the bilateral relations between the two countries, including counter-terrorism efforts and the political reforms occurred recently in Iraq, the media bureau of the prime minister stated Tuesday. Al-Abadi praised the Egyptian-Iraqi strong relations, asserting his country's partnership with Egypt in anti-terrorism efforts.
