Member of the Socialist parties' alliance, Mohamed Faraj said Sunday in a statement to Al-Bawaba News that the alliance will run for the upcoming parliamentary elections with 50 candidates competing on individual seats. Faraj revealed that the alliance will hold a press conference the following day of concluding the allowed period to submit papers of candidates running for parliament, in order to announce the alliance's electoral program and names of candidates. The alliance held Saturday a meeting at the headquarters of the Popular Alliance Party, which is a member within the alliance, to follow the promotion of its candidate's election campaign and to discuss strategies aimed at acquiring individual seats in the parliament.
