President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi concluded Tuesday his visit to Singapore with a tour in a port in Singapore, Al Bawaba News reported. The Egyptian president was welcomed by the port master, who congratulated him for the inauguration of the new Suez Canal in just one year. Presidential Spokesperson, Ambassador Alaa Yousef said that the president expressed his appreciation and admiration of the Singaporean experience on the economic and humanitarian development. The president pointed out that the development of the Suez Canal axis project will include the establishment and development of six ports, including the East Port of Ain Sukhna and Port Said, as well as the establishment of an industrial zone for each port. Yousef added that the president was briefed by the port master on the experience of Singapore in establishing and managing of ports, as the country are working on developing ports in sixteen countries.
