A number of Russian experts said that President, Abdel Fattah Al Sisi will discuss his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin the development of the industrial zone in the new Suez Canal, Youm7 News reported Friday. Russian Institute of Strategic Studies and Analysis expert Sergei Dimidenko said that that during Sisi's visit to Russia, a number of agreements between Egypt and Russian will be signed. Dimidenko pointed out that Egypt needs foreign investment especially from Russia and China, adding that Russia will participate in a number of new projects in Egypt. Russian Institute of Oriental Sciences expert Boris Dolgov stressed that the Suez Canal's new industrial zone will open the prospects for Russian business to expand its presence in Egypt. Dolgov added that the expected Russian project in Suez Canal will boost the political ties with Egypt as well as strengthen Moscow's position in the region. On August 25, Sisi will visit Moscow to meet with the Russian President and a number of officials to discuss several issues and ways of cooperation between the two countries.
