Egypt's High Education Minister El Sayed Ahmed Abdel Khalek signed Monday a cooperation protocol with the International Labour Organization (ILO)'s Cairo Office Director, Peter Van Rooij at the headquarters of the ministry, Al Bawaba News reported. Abdul Khalek said that the protocol aims to boost youth skills to support them in the labor market, stressing on the importance of this protocol to strengthen cooperation between the ministry and the organization in various fields. He added that the protocol includes improving the performance of graduates in order to qualify them for the labor market, as well as creating job opportunities to the young people after graduation. For his part, Van Rooij expressed his appreciation to the cooperation between his organization and the Ministry in the field of youth and employment. He raised the necessityof exchanging experiences for a better future for young people in order to improve Egypt's economy.
