Head of Free Social Party, Esmat Merghany praised Friday in a statement to al-Bawaba News, President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi's speech during the inauguration ceremony of the new Suez Canal. Merghany said that she met with a number of Arab and foreign delegations of businessmen and investors in the new Suez Canal, who expressed their deep happiness for building the canal in record time. She stressed that they promised to pump large parts of their investments in Egypt during the coming period. Egypt's President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi inaugurated the new Suez Canal on Thursday. The project was praised by a large number of economic and investment experts who described it as a turning point in Egypt's economy. The event was attended by a large number of world leaders.
