The Vatican delegation who attended the inauguration ceremony of the new Suez Canal at the invitation of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, has left Cairo International Airport, al-Bawaba News reported Friday. A public relations team from Cairo Airport Company has helped the delegation, who remained waiting in the VIP lounge at the airport to quickly finish its travel procedures. The delegation was seen off by a number of officials in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Egypt's President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi inaugurated the new Suez Canal on Thursday. The project was praised by a large number of economic and investment experts who described it as a turning point in Egypt's economy. The event was attended by a large number of world leaders.
