Egypt's President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi met Tuesday with Ministers of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, water resources and irrigation, and agriculture and land reclamation, to discuss reclamation of 1 million acres project. Spokesman of the presidency, Ambassador Alaa Youssef revealed that the meeting reviewed the progress witnessed in the project during the recent months, Al Bawaba newspaper reported. Youssef added that the meeting reviewed the ideas proposed over the plans to manage the new communities in accordance with the vision of the president. He explained that Sisi's vision is based on a developmental foundation that aims to establish integrated civilized societies in terms of housing, agriculture and the establishment of factories for agricultural products. The president pointed out to the need to apply modern irrigation methods to preserve the available water resources. Furthermore, the president stressed on the importance of the completing the full plan that includes the necessary conditions to introduce the reclaimed land to willing investors, young people and the rest of society.
