Algerian Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the terrorist attacks carried out by Boko Haram insurgents Thursday at Devah area, southern Niger, expressing sympathy with the victims' families and solidarity with the Nigerian people and the government, Al Bawaba News reported Friday. "We condemn in the strongest terms the terrorist attacks that targeted villages in Anujomawa, Devah area, southern Niger, which claimed the lives of many civilians, the majority of them were women and children," said Abdul Aziz bin Ali Al Sharif, spokesperson for the Algerian Foreign Ministry. Al Sharif stressed that these bloody attacks perpetrated on the eve of holy month of Ramadan shows the ugly face of terrorism, praising Niger's efforts to combat terrorism.
