Egyptian Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation, Hossam Maghazi announced that Egypt officially invited Sudan and Ethiopia for a new round of negotiations on Ethiopia's Renaissance Dam in presence of water ministers of the three countries in Cairo, Al Bawaba News reported Thursday. " Water ministers of the three countries agreed on a new round of technical negotiations in Cairo, July 1, attended by national experts of the three countries and the offices of international consultancy (French and Dutch) to carry out studies on the dam to evaluate the technical and financial reports provided by the two offices," Maghazi said in a press statement Thursday. The three ministers will organize a special celebration in the presence of all sides concerned to sign an agreeemnt with the international consultancy offices, July 11, Maghazi revealed, indicating that the Cairo meetings would determine where to hold the ceremony, in Khartoum or Cairo. He explained that the tour of technical negotiations in Cairo would listen to recommendations of the consultancy offices and the National Technical Committee, which includes 12 experts from the three countries.
