Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry met with the British National Security Adviser Kim Darroch on Thursday, Al Bawaba News reported. The two officials discussed the ways to develop the bilateral relations between Egypt and Britain in addition to the recent developments witnessed on both regional and international arena and their repercussion of European security. The Egyptian minister stressed the need for supporting the legitimate government in Libya to combat terrorism and to control the situation there. The talks also included the Syrian crisis and the threat posed by the Islamic State (IS) against the whole international community. They stressed the need to increase cooperation between the two countries in this regard.
