The Egyptian political arena has witnessed a significant convergence between the state and various political powers as the Egyptian president held a meeting with some political parties, responded to the bill they suggested for the parliamentary elections, and referred it to the government and the concerned committee. In the follow up of the parliamentary election, we continue the weekly systematic monitoring process for the field activities of various political powers, and their preparations for the parliamentary elections, as well as their stances towards the legislative and procedural regulations related to the electoral process. Al Wafd party held a series of seminars, starting with a one entitled " What the party members expect from the party's supreme body" at the the party's main headquarters in Dokki neighborhood, Cairo and sub offices across the country to organize a series of seminars on the same topic over the coming 15 days, with a supreme body representative attending all of them. Al Nour salafist party held several meetings to coordinate its activities and campaigns to prove existence among grassroots, including meetings for the secretaries of Minya, Alexandria, Cairo and Suez. The rest of the Egyptian provinces will witness similar meetings within the coming days, according to sources. The Free Egyptians party continued holding educational seminars in Luxor, Cairo, New Vally, Qalioubya and Alexandria, mostly focusing on the cultural awareness to enhance the members' personal skills to qualify them for the public and field work. The party also went on organizing political academic courses to improve the political skills of the party's youth members, for the 6th week in row, besides several cultural salons including international movies. El Harka Al Wataneia party organized a set of seminars and trainings for the party's members about the parliamentary activities, field work and communication skills in the Upper Egypt provinces where the strongest mass popular base exists, holding sessions entitled "partisan young cadres" to qualify a number of youths for the parliamentary and local councils elections. The period covered by the report witnessed holding a second meeting between the Egyptian president Abdel Fatah Al Sisi and some leaders of political parties, with the president promising to hold the meeting on a monthly basis during the coming period. The list of parties that attended the meeting included: Al Wafd, The Free Egyptian, Mostqbal Watan, Mesr balady, Al Geil, Al Ghad, El Harka Al Wataneia, Al Mohaezeen , Al Dostour, the Conference, Mesr balady and Reform and Development Party. Attendees at the president's meeting announced Al Sisi transparently and honestly discussed contentious political issues, praising the referring of the Unified Code of elections, signed by 38 parties, to the government for review in order to hold the Parliamentary elections by the end of the current year.
