Egypt's Foreign Affairs Minister Sameh Shoukry held official talks with his Ethiopian counterpart Tedros Adhanom in Addis Ababa in presence of delegations and ambassadors of the two countries, according to the ministry's statements Sunday. Shoukry delivered a message to Adhanom, sent from Egypt's President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi to Ethiopian Prime Minister who is now outside the country. The message pointed out to the importance of strengthening relations between the two countries in various fields to achieve the aspirations of people, taking into account the potentials of cooperation between Egypt and Ethiopia. The statements added that during talks, both sides stressed on necessity of boosting commercial ties between both countries, in addition to reviewing the accomplishments among Egypt, Ethiopia and Sudan regarding "Renaissance Dam" and water security.
