Egypt's President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi will visit Russia Friday in response to an invitation by Russian President, Vladimir Putin to participate in the celebrations of the Victory in Moscow, Al Bawaba newspaper reported. State Media announced that Al Sisi was to hold a bilateral meeting with the Russian president to follow up on the results of Putin's visit to Cairo in February 2015, as well as to strengthen ties between the two countries. Spokesman, Ambassador Alaa Youssef announced that Al Sisi wiould take part in the Russian national celebrations with a number of heads of states and international institutions, including the presidents of China, India and South Africa. Meanwhile, Egypt's ambassador to Russia, Mohamed Al Badri described the president's visit as an indication of strong ties between the two countries.
