Egypt's Ahly will play the winner of a match between Tanzania's Young Africans and Komorozine of Comoros in the round of 32 in the new season of the Champions League. The Confederation of African Football (CAF) held the draw in Morocco on Monday and titleholders Ahly will not play in the preliminary round that will see Cairo rivals Zamalek facing Niger's AS Douanes. Club Sfaxien (Tunisia), Coton Sport (Cameroon), Etoile du Sahel (Tunisia), Hilal (Soudan) and TP Mazembe (DR Congo) have been also exempted from the preliminary round. Eight-time African Champions League winners Ahly will play the first leg on either 28 February, 1 March or 2 March, while the second leg will be at home on 7, 8 or 9 March. Zamalek, will start their campaign for the first continental title since 2002 by playing the first leg with Douanes in Cairo on 7, 8 or 9 February, while the return match will on 14,15, or 16 February. Confederation Cup draw revealed The Confederation Cup draw was also revealed on Monday, and Egypt duo Ismaily and Wadi Degla will be playing at the tournament's round of 32. Ismaily will face the winner between Ahly Atbara of Sudan, while Degla will take on the winner between AS Douanes de Lomé of Togo and Guinea's C. Industriel.
