Top seed, Egypt, won the mixed World Squash World Cup after beating England 2-0 on Saturday in Indian city, Chennai.
The in-form Ramy Ashour set Egypt up for the prestigious win after defeating Englishman James Willstrop 3-0 (11-8 11-7 11-7).
Raneem El Weleily, Egypt's female representative who produced a string of impressive displays, overcame Jenny Duncalf with a 3-1 win afterwards (11-8, 7-11, 11-9, 11-1) to secure the Pharaohs crown.
“I'm very happy for Raneem - she is very talented and very gifted. She plays at a higher level than her ranking,” Egypt coach Amir Wagih said of the 22-year-old Alexandria-born player.
Karim Darwish was due to face Tom Richards in the last set, but it was dead rubber as Egypt had already clenched the title.
