Sources in Egypt's Coptic Orthodox Church told Ahram Arabic news website that Bishop Rafael, Father Rafael Ava Mina and Father Pachomios El-Syrian appear to be the top three finalists for the position of next Coptic pope after 90 per cent of the 2,406 electors cast votes on Monday. The high voter turnout shows that Copts love their church, acting pope Bishop Pachomious told Arabic news website. Bishop Paula, the church's spokesperson will announce the results in an international press conference around 8pm CMT.
