Established in the United States in 1909, the Yale Whiffenpoofs is a world-renowned collegiate a cappella group, consisting of 14 Yale seniors selected every year. For over a century the Whiffenpoofs have appeared on some of the world's most celebrated stages including the Lincoln Center, the Carnegie Hall, the Oakland Coliseum and even the White House. This Monday the renowned group will be performing at theCairo Opera House open air theatre as part of the opera house's summer festival running throughout the whole of July.
