Ahly's Barakat, Meteb ready for Mazembe clash
Red Devils brace for scheduled match against DR Congo's TP Mazembe next Sunday in group stage of CAF Champions League
Published in Ahram Online on 03 - 07 - 2012

Ahly midfielder Mohamed Barakat will be ready for a scheduled match against DR Congo's TP Mazembe next Sunday in the group stage of the CAF Champions League after recovering from injury.
"Barakat will be back to regular training Wednesday after he has recovered from a muscle injury he suffered early this week," Reds doctor Khaled Mahmoud was quoted as saying on the club's official website.
Tuesday's training session, meanwhile, saw the return of striker Emad Meteb, who appeared in form after taking a one-day break for personal reasons.
The Cairo giants' coach, Hossam El-Badry, gave his team tactical instructions in the wake of a 2-2 draw in a friendly match with Maqassa on Monday.
El-Badry has decided that the team will hold a closed training camp for two days in advance of Sunday's match.
Along with Mazembe, the six-time title winners have been drawn up in Group B with archrivals Zamalek and Ghana's Chelsea.
