Two productions of the Youth Theatre Company, Dogs and Afrah Al-Qobba, will be staged for two weeks after successful runs, the Culture Ministry's Artistic Theater House has announced, urging viewers to attend the "successful shows". The product of Start Your Dream initiative's second batch; Dogs, directed by Kamal Attia and written by Mahmoud El-Heddini, gained quite an appreciation from viewers and critics when staged last month. It will be on Al-Salam Theater in Qasr El-Ainy starting Wednesday, every day except Tuesday starting at 8pm. Based on Naguib Mahfouz novel, the House's hit Afrah Al-Qobba, which won big at last edition of the National Theatre Festival, will light up the Al-Masrah Al-A'em (the Floating Theater) of El-Manial at 9pm. The Mohamed Youssef Al-Mansour direction and writing, casts Mohamed Youssef, Samar Allam, Fatema Adel, Mena Nabil among others. Ordered to be held under measure against COVID-19, the public cultural activities are seeing gradual return as the third wave is fading in the 100-million-strong country. The capacity of hotels, cinemas, and restaurants has been increased to 70 percent instead of 50 percent since Sunday's decisions of the Supreme Committee for the Management of the Coronavirus Crisis, under Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly.
