Ahly coach Pitso Mosimane has expressed his pleasure after beating Esperance of Tunisia in the African Champions League semifinals, confirming the Red Devils will fight to snatch the 10th title.
Champions League title holders, Ahly put Esperance to the sword with a ruthless display of attacking football in the second half to reach the final for a second straight season with an impressive 3-0 home win on Saturday.
The Cairo giants Ahly defeated Esperance 4-0 in the Champions League semifinals on aggregate to reach the final game of the prestigious continental tournament.
"Yes! We're going to do it. Let's make it 10!, Ahly are phenomenal!," Mosimane wrote on his official Facebook account after the game against Esperance.
Ahly are scheduled to face South Africa's Kaizer Chiefs in next month's decider in Casablanca after the South Africans reached their first ever final with a shock 1-0 aggregate victory over Morocco's Wydad.
The 56-year-old, coach Mosimane celebrated the victory over Esperance as well as reaching the Champions League final game as he wrote on his facebook page "CHAMP10NS loading…"
