Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi held bilateral talks with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Mihaly Orban on Friday, discussing economic cooperation and the fight against terrorism. El-Sisi arrived in Hungary on Thursday after a three-day visit to Germany. The Hungarian premier received El-Sisi in a formal ceremony at the country's parliament on Friday morning. The bilateral talks will be followed by an expanded session that will be attended by Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, Investment Minister Ashraf Salman, and Electricity Minister Mohamed Shaker, a statement from the Egyptian presidency read. A press conference is scheduled to take place in the afternoon, with both heads of state in attendance. The opening of an Egyptian-Hungarian business forum is also scheduled for Friday, to discuss means of cooperation between the two countries, including the possibility of cooperation on the maintenance of nuclear power plants, on railways and on agriculture projects.
