We have agreed terms with Liverpool's Toure: Trabzonspor boss Liverpool's recent signing of Dejan Lovren from Southampton could pave the way for Toure's departure to Trabzonspor
Ivory Coast defender Kolo Toure is reportedly close to joining Turkish club Trabzonspor from Liverpool. Earlier this summer, Trabzonspor officials tried to sign the Ivorian international but there effort went in vain especially as his coach Brendan Rodgers was keen to keep him at Anfield. Now, Trabzonspor insist they are confident of finalising a deal for Toure. "We have agreed terms with Kolo Toure and we will bring him to the club," Trabzonspor president Ibrahim Haciosmanoglu was quoted as saying by Sky Sports on Tuesday. Toure joined the Reds on a free transfer last summer after leaving Manchester City. He helped Liverpool mount a serious title challenge but they narrowly missed out on their first league triumph since 1990. The 33-year old player departure could be easier after Liverpool's recent defensive signing of Dejan Lovren from Southampton.
